Maintain Top Gear With A New Land Rover Engine

Land Rover fans will always want to keep their vehicle in good shape, knowing that all-terrain vehicles are great things to have at any time and possibly even more so in the weeks ahead, when the landscape will be strewn with obstacles deposited by storms Dudley and Eunice.

Of course, those in the know when it comes to motoring are never too far away from a Land Rover, including the doyen of petrol heads, Jeremy Clarkson.

Unfortunately for Jezza, his fame sometimes makes him a target and the former Top Gear presenter – now trying his hand at farming – recently found himself on the receiving end of a prank protest by professional Geordies Ant and Dec, with ‘soil protestors’ handcuffing themselves to his Land Rover while waving placards bearing slogans like “Save our turf, save the earth”.

Perhaps it was just as well that the fuming former Top Gear presenter wasn’t facing a real protest. After all, how can one argue against someone who claims that soil can feel pain?

While Clarkson will no doubt be feeling miffed at falling hook, line and sinker for such a prank, at last he could be sure of getting his Land Rover back in one piece. That is just as well, for such vehicles are certainly useful at getting around farms.

Of course, some vehicles could benefit from having reconditioned Land Rover engines installed to ensure they are still functioning well, otherwise Jeremy’s disapproval would be focused on the more familiar issue of vehicle underperformance than the suffering of apparently sentient soil.

It’s certainly not hard to find comments from the man himself on Land Rovers, including reviews for models such as the Discovery Sport in 2019 and the Land Rover Defender the following year.

Of course, not everyone will agree with Clarkson’s opinions on Land Rovers and various other things. But all owners will agree that their vehicle will perform rather better without someone handcuffed to it.
